I (Deming CHU, 储德明) joined Ant Group to develop large-scale management system for vectors and unstructured data. We are working on VSAG, an open-source vector search engine. VSAG can support trillions of vectors and is used by OceanBase, TuGraph, and GreptimeDB.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of New South Wales in October 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Wenjie Zhang and Prof. Ying Zhang. Before that, I obtained my B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from East China Normal University, supervised by Prof. Xuemin Lin.

I am also a former competitive programmer. I instruct students on Olympiad in Informatics (OI) for some years (2016-2019 and 2024-now) in Shanghai.
